Northeast Portland's Meryl Lipman named communications ...

The
Oregon Cultural Trust has named Meryl Lipman, of Northeast Portland, as communications
manager.

Lipman holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Russian Language from The American University in Washington, D.C., according to a release. She has worked in Russia and Belarus, and has spent seven years in tourism marketing for an airline, a tour operator, an Oregon destination marketing organization, and a Portland hotel.

She earned her Master of Arts in writing from Portland State University while working in marketing, community outreach and intercultural services for Portland Community College. Most recently, she was public relations manager for the Rock Creek campus.

The Oregon Cultural Trust raises money to support statewide arts, humanities and heritage programs.
